Craig and Tiffany go to Whitestone

Tuesday, December 28, 2004

Tiffany and I left Silas with my parents for a couple days while we went to Whitestone Country Inn in Kingston, TN.  This was the first time Tiffany had been away from Silas for more than 6 hours since he was born.

Whitestone Country Inn is about 35 minutes west of Knoxville.  We had stayed there 2 years ago, and we loved it.  So, we went back

Canada Goose

again.  We stayed in the same room called, Canada Goose.  Here is a photo of the room.

We traveled pretty casually from Nashville where my parents are to Kingston.  The trip would normally have been about 2hrs 45minutes, but we stretched it out to more than 5 hours.  We did a little shopping, eating, and we stopped at Starbucks (we don't have Starbucks at home so we always look for an opportunity to get it).

After breakfast the next morning we went to Dollywood.  It is Dolly Parton's themepark in Pigeon Forge, TN (1hr 45minutes from Whitestone).  It was great. :)  It was nicely decorated for Christmas with tons of lights. We enjoyed a couple rides on a roller coaster, a couple turns on a tilt-a-whirl, and a few shows with singing and dancing.  It was fun to be together.

The next day (Tuesday) we took our time getting back to Nashville.  We look forward to another stay at Whitestone.  Check out our photo album: Craig & Tiffany at Whitestone.

Being Silas' mommy
I love being Silas’ mommy. He now does an army crawl, pushing off with one big toe and pulling forward with one arm. It’s so cute!
The Cross Centered Life
I highly recommend this book. This is a little bitty book that has a huge message: Center your life around the gospel.
Anxiety Attacked
This book changed my life. God worked in my heart as I sat reading this book for a research project in college.

The Timing of the Rapture and John 14:2-3
The study of the timing of the rapture is a large task. The theologian needs to exegete many passages in order to synthesize the teaching of Scripture on the whole topic. John 14.2-3 is a passage that is used by many pretribulationists to support their position.
