The Christian Counselor's Manual is a very helpful tool for those who want
to learn to counsel biblically. Written by Jay Adams, it offers a model for counseling that is all together different from "Christian psychology." Rather than adding a few Bible passages and a few prayers to a secular model of counseling, Adams starts from Scripture, continues with Scritpure, and ends with Scriptures to develop a purely biblical model for counseling.
I have summarized each of the 38 chapters which will allow you to "get the point" without reading all 450 pages yourself.
You will find the chapter summaries under "Read 'em and Reap." Lord-willing, many more books related to Biblical Counseling will be summarized and added to the 3 there now.
