The Cross Centered Life

Friday, January 14, 2005

This is a little bitty book that has a huge message:  Center your life around the gospel.  Be motivated to live for God because you owe him your life.  Remember your perfect standing before Him because you are clothed in Christ’s righteousness.  Don’t try to earn favor with Him.  Don’t base how good you feel about yourself on how you’ve performed on any given day.  Remember His forgiveness, rejoice in it and give Him your love and your life in return.

This book reminds us how to live with a simple, single-minded devotion to Christ.  It reminded me to not live life on a treadmill of doing “right things” for all the wrong reasons. It reminded me of my reason for living.

It will motivate you to praise the God who bought you!
