This short book, by John S.C. Abbott, was written in 1833.  It emphasizes the huge influence mothers have on their children in the every day school of life.  It reminds us moms to be so careful in raising our children in the fear of the Lord, using scripture as our standard.     It is interesting to see how much children were expected to honor their mothers and be respectful back in the “olden days”. I was challenged by this book.  Read it and reap!
