This is a collection of puritan prayers and devotions put together by The Banner of Truth Trust. Each page contains a new prayer that inspires and excites my passion for God. It is extremely humbling to see the piety of these old saints. I’m convicted each time I pick it up, but always encouraged to look to the cross for my only hope. It always takes me out of my busy 21st century mindset and draws me into thinking deep thoughts of my savior. It’s a precious book. It’s a great addition to a daily prayer time, or as something to read before bed and to ponder in the night watches.
